This Kanban board or Task Board in Excel will help either your Project Management or your Task Management. It can replace your Gantt Chart or be an addition to it for all your Agile or any type of projects.

- This board will split your tasks in 4 categories set as parameters, meaning each category can be defined by you.
- Each task will have a short description at the top, you can use it for whatever you like, it could be a short description for the task, or a resource name, or a project name, whatever you like. You can also choose if you want to show a date as part of this title. This is another parameter that you have.
- Each board also will show a flag for the tasks you have marked as Urgent.
- You can decide how many characters of the description will show on the board itself. You can input descriptions as long as you want in the Data Entry tab, but you can decide how many will show on the board based on a parameter, and the system will show this symbol, if you have a Spill, meaning if the description is too long for what you have set as a parameter.
- You can also decide how to sort those tasks within the category, it could be data or title or input sequence.
- You can decide if a task is to be hidden from the board. And the quick summary at the top will show many tasks are visible, hidden and will show a + if the amount of tasks is bigger than the amount you decide in parameters. This is valid only for To Do or In progress Tasks
- Finally you can select whichever Color Scheme you want (there is a total of 20, but not all will look good!). You will only get one version, but in the instructions I will show you how to access other color schemes.
